Derek Gough MRICS
After creating DGA at his kitchen table nearly 30 years ago, Derek has amassed many years of experience in the quantity surveying and construction industry sectors.
Derek’s experience includes sectors such as Retail, Commercial, Civil Engineering and Residential.
When he isn’t on the golf course, Derek remains a vital member of the team, working closely with our apprentice and assistant Quantity Surveyors especially.

Philippa Gough
Co Owner/Director
For nearly all her working life, Philippa has worked in business development and strategy, helping businesses to grow.
Starting out as a management accountant, Philippa’s roles gradually expanded into her current role as Managing Director.
Philippa has a vast amount of passion and knowledge on business development and sustainable building.
She strongly believes that the key to a successful business is value, relevance, speed and responsiveness.
Above all, she believes family is at the heart of every business, and she sees every member of DGA as a member of her extended family.

Ed Gough MRICS
Managing Director
Having studied theology at Durham University, Edward went on to take his post-graduate studies in law and was called to the Bar in 2010.
He has worked for a variety of human rights organisations in Cambodia and has worked on business and human rights and legal education programs for a rule of law firm based in Phnom Penh.
Now, having worked for DGA for years, Ed is now working towards his RICS accreditation and has a vast amount of experience in high-end residential and commercial schemes.

Michael Pickering MRICS
Associate Director
Quantity Surveyor Specialising in PQS services.
Michael has experience as both a PQS and Contractor’s QS – with a proven record for success through adding value to projects.
As someone working towards Chartership in Quantity Surveying, Michael is always looking to bring the principals and values of the RICS to his clients, projects and colleagues alike.

Associate Director
Will focuses on a bit of everything, with experience in largescale apartment blocks, hospitals, schools, warehouses, hangars and airport terminals.
Will has managed to broaden his skillset by dealing with luxury bespoke projects and providing a PQS service to these projects.

Andy Freeman MRICS
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Graduate Quantity Surveyor focussing on estimating, procurement and PQS services.
A member of the DGA team since 2018, Andy has continued to build his experience in providing Professional Quantity Surveying services, Main Contractor estimates and Bills of Quantities.
Andy aims to build strong personal relationships with all clients, helping to ensure their requirements are met or exceeded.
