Stephen Shields has been a team member at Derek Gough Associates for more than two years. He is a trainee Quantity Surveyor, specialising in the provision of commercial support to both contractors and private clients.

Stephen‘s educational background includes a period of study at Mid Cheshire College, Hartford from 2004 to 2006, during which he obtained the National Certificate In Construction. Currently he is studying part time at Stockport College for his HNC in Construction.

Commencing his career with Derek Gough Associates in 2005, Stephen’s professional responsibilities now encompass sourcing costs for tenders from the company’s extensive database of sub-contractors.

 Further duties include measurement for subcontract packages and maintaining the company cost database. 19 years of age, Stephen lists his out of work interests as swimming and squash.
